Elizabeth is influential open internet advocate that was deeply involved in stopping SOPA, and that's what she'll be talking about on this year's SHARE Conference. Graduated law from Harvard, she is a visiting fellow at Yale and a lecturer at Stanford (where she started the 'Ideas for a better internet' program), and above all, she is a leader in the global free culture movement.
Star co-founded Open Video Alliance, coalition of organizations, including Google and Mozilla, which promotes online video in order to prevent it from turning into what traditional television has become today, ultimately believing that accessibility to culture and knowledge is crucial for innovations, creativity and a healthy society.
She is currently preparing a book on the importance of abundance versus scarcity of culture in the digital era. She grew up listening to electronic music and now enjoys giving lectures about the phenomenon of remix.
