Serbia Travel Club
Serbia Travel Club is the most important Website for independent travelers in ex-Yugoslavia. Since 2005 the Club is actively building a culture of independent, explorative, and creative travels through various projects, such as numerous expeditions on every continent, high-quality multimedia travelogues, travel dictionaries, hitchhiker guides, and hospitality exchange programmes. Serbia Travel Club’s vision is to show that, with the help of new media technologies, traveling does not only represent an important individual medium for learning and understanding the world, but also a creative act of wider social significance.
Lazar Pašćanović is the founder of the Serbia Travel Club. As a travel writer, blogger, journalist, translator, and photographer, he traveled widely across Europe, Asia and Africa. As an editor and co-author, he published a notable book of collected travelogues, Off the Beaten Path (in Serbian).
Uroš Krčadinac is a new media researcher, animator, and travel artist. He wrote and drew about Siberia and Mongolia, Turkey and the Middle East, together with a considerable part of Africa. He was educated in Serbia, Canada, and Austria. He has received numerous awards for his art, films, and software projects.
