Pescanik is the only remaining media outlet in Serbia with unbiased and critical reporting and political analysis. Pescanik started as a radio show in 2000, and also launched website in 2007 which became an online political magazine with daily comments and analysis.
Pescanik is a platform for various activists and experts who have something different to say about themes they regard as focal for Serbian society. It is also a public forum for difficult topics. Pescanik deals with violations of human rights, war crimes and legacy of the nineties, hate speech, corruption, violence, education etc. It helps people make educated decisions about matters that concern their lives. Pescanik informs public debate, educate it’s audience and mobilize it for the change. We are the watchdogs.
