Samir Allioui, a.k.a. "Coretx", is a Dutch politician, co-founder and former president of the Pirate Party of Nederlands. In 2011, he got re-elected co president during the Pirate Parties International conference in Friedrichshafen, Germany.
Pirate Party International is an umbrella organization for all Pirate parties worldwide.
Samir has a long history of engagement in information policy, starting from hactivism in the early 21st century leading up to his current involvement in the parliament. He was the first to introduce the dead weight loss argument into the “pirate” debate on intellectual property issue.
