Dom Omladine
Stefan Lehmkuhl is the art director of the Melt! Festival, an openair festival where electronica meets rock.
The main attraction of the festival is its location, an openair museum that boasts a collection of huge machines from the 20th century. Since 2009 he has also co-organised the Berlin Festival. This festival is taking place at another unusual location, the now defunct Tempelhof airport.
In 2008, Lehmkuhl founded the booking agency Melt! Booking, which represents artists like Fever Ray, Booka Shade, Tricky, Tiga and Junior Boys for the German market and Schlachthofbronx, Daniel Haaksman, Edu K, Bonaparte, Bodi Bill and others worldwide. Lehmkuhl also consults corporate brands in booking bands and DJs and is programming events like "Electronic Beats" and "T-Mobile Streetgigs."
