Elektrana presents: Minitel Rose

French electro trio Minitel Rose is back in the game.

Two years after their critically acclaimed first album,The French Machine, Raphael, Romain and Quentin have teamed up with EMI Music for their sophomore release - Atlantique. Simple but sophisticated, retro, futurist, romantic – just a few of the words that come to mind when describing Minitel Rose’s sound.

Falling somewhere between rock and dance (the band loves rock drums and dance synths), Atlantique was composed largely in a rented house overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. They wanted to get an album composed in a special place during a special period, in a special time of their lives. They stress that it’s very important for them to be in an atypical place to compose.
